NCAA Tournament, local flavor sort of

At least 4 schools within 150 miles of Wise County will be in the dance.

ETSU
Radford
Tennessee
Moorehead St.

Blacksburg is right on the fringe of that 150 mile deal as well, if they beat FSU tomorrow it might be 5 teams. Pretty impressive, I for one will be glued to the TV when the Eagles, Bucs, and Highlanders tip off. Heres hoping one of the Cinderellas come up with a W in the dance.

Any chance of Tech getting in if they dont beat FSU. Will they have to win the ACC toun.

I scheduled the first 2 days of the tournament off a couple of weeks ago. Looks like I'll have plenty to watch. Hopefully the local teams will make us proud.

VT should get in IMO. All of them will be home by the 2 round anyways.

As of right now Maryland has a better resume than VT.

I'm in noways a VT fan, but they are pretty decent. A lot better then their record shows, could have easily won 3-4 games that they blew. Actually should have beat Duke, but the refs wouldn't have it.

The followng teams imo need two wins to be safe:
VT
Miami
Maryland

2 of the three will play each other in round one so one of them will have a shot. Bubble is very weak this year but I don't think it really matters. Maybe Miami could get in with one win if they beat VT and then gave UNC a good game. Maryland needs a miracle and VT is all but done if they lose to FSU tomorrow.
